Romerike Health Center
Romerike Health Center is Norway's largest interdisciplinary health center with more than 800,000 visitors each year. The center was opened in 2009 and is approximately 20,000 square meters. Around 30 different health services are gathered under the same roof, and close to 1,000 people are working here.
The ambition is to make the health center into a hub for ideas and co-creation between business, public actors, research, and education in the region. To achieve this, there are services such as emergency room, medical center, dentists, public health center, blood donation center, X-ray, orthopedic services, physiotherapy, nutritional advisors, physiologists, and other contract specialists in the health building. The first ever health-promoting Norwegian Labor and Welfare Administration (NAV) office is also situated in the health Center.
We are expanding the health center corresponding to a doubling of the current area. The aim is to create a place that contributes to increased awareness of health-promoting way of life. Read more about Romerike Health Center here
