Linstow is certified as an Eco-Lighthouse!
Targeted and solid environmental work over time has meant that Linstow this week got all of our Norwegian properties certified as an Eo-Lighthouse. The certificate is the country's most used for companies that want to document their environmental efforts and show social responsibility. The environmental certification is one of the measures that have been implemented after we signed the immediate measures from Norsk Eiendom and Grønn Byggallianse earlier this year.
3. November 2021- We are very proud of the certification and ensure that this is also valued by our costumers, suppliers and other partners, says Per Mortensen, CEO of Linstow.
The certification criteria cover important areas such as the working environment, waste management, energy use, purchasing and transport, and provide large companies such as Linstow with good conditions for implementing efficient and profitable environmental improvements.
- Linstow's goals is to further develop, build, operate and manage sustainable buildings that help to move energy consumption and the CO2 footprint of the real estate industry in a more sustainable direction. With this certification we got a system for environmental management with routines and forms for our process, which means that we can work even more systematically with measures in the future Mortensen continues.
A continuous process
In order to be certified a thorough environmental analysis must be prepared, in which the business is assessed in relation to established industry requirements. Linstow started the process early in 2021 and now that the certification is in place, our sustainability work will be followed up through annual environmental action plans and re-certification every three years.
